VidNudge is an independently developed YouTube creator analytics project focused on making channel numbers easier to understand, especially for creators who don't want to spend hours learning complicated dashboards.

What we're building

VidNudge starts with a plain question: what changed since the last time you checked your channel? It presents available public channel views, changes between saved readings, accessible video totals and milestones before moving into deeper tools. Creators can compare two videos, explore available comments and generate reports with suggestions to investigate.

Private YouTube analytics are a different category of information. Access depends on the channel owner's authorization or a valid YouTube Studio export. The public website at vidnudge.com is available to everyone; the creator app is currently onboarding a controlled group of Founding Creators while production checks continue.

Why our reports explain the limitations

Public lifetime view totals don't measure recent watch time, audience retention, thumbnail click-through rate or earnings. An accessible list of recent uploads may be much smaller than the channel's full video inventory. VidNudge aims to distinguish the facts shown by its data from the hypotheses it suggests for future videos.

For example, if one sampled repair tutorial has more lifetime views than another, a creator might examine its topic and title. But that number alone cannot prove which thumbnail performed better or whether an edit will increase future views. We would rather say what's unknown than make a misleading growth promise.

Free learning resources for creators

Our Creator Guides are public educational articles written to be useful even without a VidNudge account. They explain common analytics questions using simple, labelled examples and practical decision-making routines. They aren't scraped YouTube content or a substitute for your channel's authorized analytics.

Each guide separates lifetime statistics from dated changes and reminds readers to compare videos fairly by age and format. As the product evolves, we may update the guides to reflect features that are actually available. We don't publish invented testimonials or promise guaranteed subscriber growth.

Independence, privacy and feedback

VidNudge is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by YouTube or Google. Public information may be retrieved using Google's YouTube APIs. Users can optionally authorize private analytics through Google's account process. Details of website and creator application data practices are explained in our Privacy Policy.

We welcome specific feedback about confusing statistics, broken features and missing explanations.
